Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy

What is Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy?

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST) is a subtle and profoundly effective healing art that assists the body’s natural capacity for self-repair. This holistic, gentle hands-on therapy strengthens ones’ whole system and increases vitality.

Craniosacral Therapy is based on the work of Dr Sutherland, who around 100 years ago, developed an approach to Osteopathy known as “the Cranial Concept”. These original concepts have been refined and developed over the years to become the Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy of today. BCST is non-manipulative and allows the client’s body to safely set the pace and order at which adjustment can occur naturally.

As a therapist listens to the body through professional Craniosacral touch, a reorganisation towards health can take place. A holistic shift may occur on physiological, psychological or energetic levels. Thus, the practitioner is focusing on the health of the whole system instead of symptoms.

Your inherent inner wisdom and body intelligence direct the therapy process, creating deep and lasting transformation.

This gentle therapy offers benefits for people with a wide range of symptoms, such as:

  • Chronic tension and pain
  • Chronic fatigue
  • Stress
  • Nervous disorders
  • Hormonal imbalances
  • Headaches and migraines
  • Digestive issues
  • Sleep disorders
  • Emotional and mental imbalances
  • Breathing disorders
  • Pregnancy and postnatal issues
  • Birth trauma
